Software Description

Network Simulator is a network simulator for educational affairs and network topology. This project is based on an idea from Kamran Saberi Fard, and the programming and design of software has been done by Hessam Haddad. Network Simulator has been released in the .Net Framework 3.5 and .Net Framework 4 C# .Net environment. Depending on the existence of .Net Framework 3.5, the default setting for Windows 7 and the .Net Framework 4 default on Windows 8 is not a concern for compatibility with your system. You can also use the software in Windows XP to install one of these two software.

Some features of Network Simulator:

  • Strong user interface. (Build any object as Dynamic with Drag)
  • Possibility to add up to 1000 computers and switches to the topology
  • Ability to change the characteristics of a computer or switch after creation
  • Ability to remove Connection from two specific ports
  • Simulate the Terminal environment for each computer along with Record all the dialed commands
  • Simulate the ipconfig and ping commands as well as Tab and Directions within the Terminal
  • Ability to save and load the entire network in one file (soft98)
